Come Bass fish beautiful Lake Sonoma, located at the end of Dry Creek in the heart of the Wine Country, just 1 1/2 hours north of the San Francisco Bay Area. Lake Sonoma was completed in the late '70's during the drought, but not completely filled until the heavy rains of '86. The Lake record largemouth bass is just over 15 pounds. There is also a good population of smallmouth bass. Lake Sonoma is considered by many avid fishermen and outdoor writers as the hottest bass lake in Northern California.
The wild life and scenery is spectacular. It is common to see bald eagles and golden eagles, osprey, otters, deer, wild pigs and an occasional mountain lion. So bring your camera!
